The new UC M31 and UC M40 cameras from MAXHUB allow you to see things from a whole new perspective! Experience video conferencing as if you were right in the middle of it!
The MAXHUB UC M31 revolutionizes video conferencing with a 180° panoramic field of view. Combined with auto-tracking and the six video layouts, the UC M31 is suitable for any type of meeting, from small groups to whole-room presentations. The 180° recordings are created by 3 built-in cameras, whose images are seamlessly stitched together using "picture stitching". The maximum output resolution via USB is UHD (3840 x 2160p). This incredibly wide pick-up range and the two built-in microphones make the MAXHUB UC M31 ideal for the smallest huddle spaces.
But that's not the only place where the new panorama camera shines. The button on the camera can be used to switch between 6 different modes:
Compose mode: Combines a panoramic view with close-ups. Shows the entire room and 6 participants in close-up at the same time.
Manual mode: Manual selection of the image
Body-fit mode: Auto-framing to all participants
Grid mode: Close-up images of 4 participants at the same time in a 4-way split.
Presentation mode: Shows the whiteboard/display and the active presenter at the same time (PiP)
Speaker mode: Shows the entire Meeting space and a shot of all participants at the same time.
The MAXHUB UC M40 captures the entire room thanks to the 4 built-in lenses. Picture stitching is also used here.
The 360° image can be played back in a wide variety of layouts via USB at the touch of a button.
Besides the modes already mentioned above, another 7 are preconfigured, including a 4-split view, a portrait mode or even a beamforming mode. In the latter, a 180° view is moved in the direction of the sound source. The camera is placed in the center of the table. Due to the +/-25° adjustable horizontal camera angle, every participant is completely covered. In addition to the crystal clear 4K image, the built-in microphones and the integrated speaker ensure optimal speech understanding in the video conference.
Thanks to the extensive setting options via the software, auto-tracking is also possible with both products. In this case, the person speaking is tracked in close-up while moving around the room. You can find more details in our webshop or directly via the links to the product.
