What defines a company that has been in existence for more than 160 years? Continuous innovation! That's how you could Kindermann GmbH the success of Kindermann GmbH . Sometimes it's just a few small adjustments that need to be made, but now a new era is dawning. Kindermann is now presenting itself with a modern brand image and is launching a quality offensive in all areas, as well as an innovative online shop for dealers in the near future.

The impetus for the revamp came from Dominic Hoffmann, who joined Kindermann GmbH head of marketing just over a year ago. He quickly realized that the corporate design no longer reflected the innovative company that Kindermann is today. However, this initiative resulted in much more than just a new logo. Months of intensive discussion with all areas of the company followed. From defining values to reviewing communication and work processes to personnel development. Together with the employees, a concept was created that makes Kindermann a forward-looking supplier and employer.

Kindermann Products, the success speaks for itself

Already three years ago, the decision was made to focus more on the own brand again. The company has not limited itself to its own products, but has expanded its portfolio to include touch displays and the collaboration system. KLICK&SHOW further expanded. In doing so, Kindermann places the highest value on its own developments, which make these solutions remarkably easy to install and operate. Distribution continues to be an important mainstay. This provides dealers with a wide range of alternatives and enables them to meet the diverse needs of end customers with one-stop shopping.

"With our new claim "Kindermann proudly presents" we are going on the offensive again. For too long we have not made our success and importance visible. Our new claim does not only stand for our own products, but we are also convinced of the quality of the distribution products and our services. All of this can be titled "Kindermann Experience", our claim to provide customers with an excellent experience at every touch point with us",

Dominic Hoffmann, Head of Marketing at Kindermann GMBH

The new brand identity

The redesigned logo of Kindermann now also includes a figurative mark that is emblematic of the company's next chapter. This combines the "K" of the old word mark with the familiar symbol for "Play/Start" and a stylistic element that stands for connectivity & collaboration. In the future, the new Kindermann button will play a central role in the products and services and ensure a high recognition value.

Kindermann has made "excellence" its motto, which should apply not only to the products, but to all areas of the company. The design element "Spark of Excellence" was developed for this purpose. This key visual is derived from a jewel and will significantly shape the corporate identity.

"We don't want to be the biggest, but we want to be the best - that's our goal. In doing so, we have set the bar high for ourselves and set in motion a process internally that we are working on together day by day. We are proud of our external image, as the new look reflects our innovative strength."

Timo Meissner, Managing Director of Kindermann GmbH.

Although the decision is not yet final, as Barco can still appeal, Kindermann sees the ruling as a clear signal. At the center of all the disputes is "KLICK&SHOW", the wireless presentation solution from Kindermann, which has now grown into a comprehensive product family.

As early as 2018, Kindermann filed an opposition against Barco's patent with the European Patent Office. The company was not alone here; other providers of similar collaboration solutions also challenged the patent. Now the European Patent Office has decided in the first instance that the inventive step of the described technical features is not sufficient to maintain the patent for Clickshare.

In 2018, Kindermann launched "KLICK&SHOW". This was already a thorn in Barco's side at the time and it tried to obtain a sales ban, but to no avail. The lawsuits of the Belgian manufacturer were rejected by courts in Germany and the Netherlands, and appeals are also underway. It will be interesting to see the final verdicts.

"We are delighted with this interim victory. Unfortunately, such proceedings are very lengthy and we will have to remain patient until the final decisions are made. The positive trend and success of KLICK&SHOW us to continue expanding the product family," says Timo Meißner, Managing Director of Kindermann GmbH.

Kindermann announces the cooperation with EET Deutschland GmbH. This now includes the distribution of the Kindermann KLICK&SHOW collaboration solutions. This expands the existing cooperation with the EET Group, which started in April 2021 for selected European countries.

EET Deutschland GmbH is part of the European EET Group and, as a specialist distributor, supplies around 3,000 specialist dealers, system houses, integrators and etailers. In Germany, the company has become known through the distribution of IT spare parts and accessories. For the past three years, the portfolio has been successively expanded, including in the area of ProAV solutions. With the distribution of the Kindermann KLICK&SHOW product family, EET Germany is responding to the increased demand for wireless collaboration solutions. This is due to new working environments and ongoing trends such as BYOD (Bring your own Device) and BYOM (Bring your own Meeting).

"We look forward to working with Kindermann GmbH. This long-established German company impresses with its reliable and competent approach, and its clear channel model fits perfectly with the philosophy of EET Germany. With KLICK&SHOW , we are expanding our product range with sophisticated collaboration solutions that leave nothing to be desired in terms of compatibility and accessories."

says Ingo Marten, Managing Director of EET Germany.

"New Work" and hybrid working bring with them new requirements. Kindermann recognized these trends at an early stage and offers with KLICK&SHOW smart solutions that are particularly easy and intuitive to use. Content can be transferred wirelessly from a notebook or mobile device to a large screen, or video and audio equipment can be controlled. The comprehensive product family is currently probably the only one on the market that can be used via transmitter, software client, app or natively via Airplay, Miracast and Chromecast. Support for all major operating systems, a variety of transmitters with USB-A, HDMI, and USBC ports, and an excellent price/performance ratio make KLICK&SHOW a good choice.

"The cooperation with EET Deutschland GmbH enables us to further expand our customer base in the direction of IT resellers and system houses. The decisive factors for the decision were the distinctive sales experience in this dynamic market as well as the specialized teams with experts and the first-class support for their customers."

Kindermann GmbH its first touch displays under its own label in 2020. Now, just under two years later, the company is presenting the next generation with its new TD-20 series of touch displays. Interactive displays are not only used in businesses; they are also enjoying tremendous success in schools.

Kindermann has always been active in the education sector and is very familiar with the demands, but also the reservations about new technologies. Therefore, the focus is on ease of use, which is reflected in the user interface developed in-house. It is designed so intuitively that users can get started immediately without any training effort.

Natural writing feel

The Kindermann touch displays of the TD-20xx series impress with their new glass surface. Thanks to Zero-Gap technology, there is no empty space between the touch and LCD panels, which further improves the accuracy of touch input. This makes writing on the touch display feel as natural as writing on paper. The new slim and highly precise infrared touch frame supports up to 40 touch points and enables accurate object recognition, for example whether a thick or thin pen or the hand is used as an "eraser". In addition, the surface has an antibacterial coating. This protection remains intact even with intensive use and frequent cleaning.

Future-proof, sustainable investment

The new Kindermann TD-20xx models have a powerful and future-proof configuration that can also be compared with current tablets and smartphones. This includes a modern SoC (System-on-a-Chip) with quad-core processor (1.8 Ghz), 8 GB RAM and 64 GB storage for apps and data.
Android 9.0 is currently used as the operating system. The touch display can be equipped with a powerful PC via the OPS slot and thus access to the Windows world can be opened.

Screen Mirroring on board

With the integrated EShare solution, mobile devices can be connected quickly and easily, regardless of the operating system. Their content can then be transferred wirelessly to the touch display. This also works the other way around, so that the large display can be mirrored onto the tablets of meeting participants or students, for example. In split-screen mode, up to four screen contents can be displayed simultaneously. HDMI and USB-C dongles are also available for particularly intuitive use via Plug & Play.

Wide range of connection options

The TD-20xx touch displays have a large number of connection options to connect peripheral devices such as cameras and sound systems etc.. The ports are easily accessible on the front and side. The ports have been expanded by a new USB-C interface, which means only one cable is needed for video, audio and touch transmission as well as charging. The charging current of 65 watts is also sufficient for power-hungry notebooks.

Windows Ink

Windows Ink support has also been improved. The advantage of Windows Ink is that passive pens are also recognized automatically. Thus, annotations can be made comfortably in all common Windows Office applications without having to select the tool. The new touch displays are available in 65, 75 as well as 86 inch sizes.
Remarkable is the standard warranty of three years with on-site replacement service.
